Within Andhra Pradesh, the overall literacy rate is significantly lower than the national average. Of the total population, only 67.35% are literate. When comparing statistics, it is evident that education in this state does not reach females (the male literacy rate is 74.77%, and the female literacy rate is only 59.96%). Some districts in the state only have a 58.9% literacy rate. Our goal for this state is to provide education/technological supplies as well as in-depth lessons. Through our Andhra Pradesh Project, we will provide the lessons and supplies needed for children!
